When people think about weddings and weight-loss, often what comes to mind are crash diets involving liquid meals, diet pills, and fasting.  It is possible to lose weight in a short amount of time using some of these methods, but research has shown that the vast majority of people will soon gain the weight back, plus more.  None of these diets are sustainable. Extreme calorie restriction puts a lot of stress on your body and throws off your metabolism, ending in binge eating and rapid weight gain.  The trick is to learn how to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way which can take you through your wedding and into your marriage.

3 Month Health and Weight-loss Program for Brides.  If you're looking to shed some pounds before your big day, learn healthy nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle habits to incorporate into your marriage, and to let go of the stress surrounding dieting during this busy time of life, this program will give you a great foundation.  We start with a free, one-hour consultation to get to know one another.  In our first meeting we discuss your health and weight-loss goals for the program.  We begin with nutrition knowledge, then move into the exploration phase of determining the best health and weight-loss plan for your individual lifestyle.  Our discussion includes incorporating physical activity as well as stress management (stress can contribute to weight-gain and weakening of the immune system).  We meet twice per month, with email support between sessions.

Cost: $570 for 6 hours ($95 per hour for 6 sessions)

6 Month Health and Weight-loss Program for Brides.  This program provides nutrition knowledge and education, exploration and determination of your individual health and weight-loss plan, as well as the implementation of your plan through creating sustainable habits that fit into your lifestyle.  We start with a free, one-hour consultation to get to know one another.  In our first meeting we discuss your health and weight-loss goals for the program.  After exploring and determining your unique health and weight-loss plan, we work together to develop sustainable habits which include nutrition, physical activity and stress management (stress can contribute to weight-gain and weakening of the immune system).  We meet twice per month, with email support between sessions.

Cost: $1140 for 12 hours ($95 per hour for 12 sessions)
